Labine Electric began in the 1960’s with Oliver Labine starting his own business. He worked out of his truck when he had time away from his farming. He went into it full time in 1973 after retiring from farming. His son Charles started working for him in the late 1970’s. In 1982 Charles and Oliver became partners. In 1984 Charles bought out his dad and became incorporated.

Labine Electric does a wide range of projects. They do residential, commercial, farm, and grain elevators. John Labine, a grandson of Oliver, came to work for the company in 2007, and has become an important part of the company. With John’s experience Labine Electric now installs boilers for floor heat. They have become a dealer for Steffes heating products. They also install Electro- industries heating products as well as Smart Rooms – Therma-Ray Heating Systems.
